The Board of Directors of the Saudi Triathlon Federation, headed by Eng. Ali Magboul, announced this evening, Wednesday, the signing of a sponsorship agreement for 2023 Asia Triathlon Championship with Arabian Drilling Company .
The Federation succeeded in signing the contract with Arabian Drilling Company to become the Platinum sponsor of the Asian Triathlon Championship, which is scheduled to be hosted in 11th & 12th November 2023. The inauguration ceremony of the sponsorship agreement was held in the conference hall at the headquarters of Arabian Drilling Company, in Khobor.
In the presence of Eng. Ali Magboul, the Legal Director Mr. Mohammed Al Haidar on behalf of Arabian Drilling CEO Eng. Ghassan Mirdad. In addition, Mr. Hubert Lafoil, Chief Financial Officer of the company, and the administrative team from the Saudi Triathlon Federation attended as well.
Eng. Ali Magboul; chairman of the federation; said that signing the sponsorship agreement with Arabian Drilling Company comes as an affirmation of the effective role of the private sector in supporting the community, which is in line with the direction of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, may God protect it, in integrating and linking all concerned sectors with the aim of improving the quality of hosting major sports events. This will help in moving towards achieving operational strategies, including increasing incomes to reach the level of self-sufficiency in the future.
The CEO of Arabian Drilling Company, Eng. Ghassan Mirdad, stressed on the commitment of the management of Arabian Drilling Company to achieve the goals of the Kingdom's vision 2030, the most important of which is to reach a vibrant society, which is one of its components working to increase the percentage of sports practitioners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in order to reach a balanced healthy lifestyle and thus raise the quality of life, we have taken the initiative to sponsor the Asian Triathlon Championship in Al-Khobar in November 2023 and support the Saudi Triathlon Federation to organize it.
